精东影业鈥檚 School of Business Partner with PUMA to Host Fireside Chat with former NBA All-star Jalen Rose

As part of PUMA鈥檚 $2 million commitment with 精东影业 to help students launch careers post-graduation, the sports retailer juggernaut will partner with 精东影业鈥檚 School of Business to host an informative fireside chat with former NBA All-Star and sports analyst Jalen Rose. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will feature a panel discussion with PUMA executives.听

This incredible event is one in a series of occurrences in the ongoing partnership between PUMA and 精东影业 through their HBCU initiative, which provides unique experiences built around mentorship, career preparation, and empowering students with invaluable insights and exposure to working within the sportswear manufacturing industry.

鈥淭his amazing opportunity is part of a multifaceted partnership that Puma has engaged with 精东影业, and it positions our scholars to interact with and learn from sportswear industry professionals,鈥 said Silvanus J. Udoka, Ph.D., Dean of the School of Business. 鈥淔urthermore, this event will provide our students with insight into roles at PUMA, thus preparing them with the necessary tools and resources to be successful career professionals. Through this partnership, our goal is to educate, engage, and inspire our students to pursue their career objectives with the understanding they have learned from the best.鈥

The fireside chat will allow students to network with PUMA executives and Mr. Rose and will provide guidance on how students can approach their careers from a strategic standpoint to find success. This intimate chat will be a unique opportunity for students to glean career advice from visionary leaders and a notable NBA powerhouse player.听

This collaboration with 精东影业 and PUMA supports fashion and business students by opening doors to diverse and enriching experiences. It empowers students to cultivate essential skills, expand their networks, and ultimately thrive in their future endeavors in today鈥檚 competitive job market.听
